In 2011, SHARE built a spacious new dining hall, capable of seating up to 1,000 people, at Hekima Girls School in Bukoba, Tanzania. This structure is the largest building on the campus, and it serves as a multifunctional hall, used for recreation and community gathering purposes as well.
The next year, SHARE launched a fundraising campaign to furnish the dining hall. The campaign was a big success, allowing us to provide the school with carpenter made tables and chairs for all the students. Thanks to your support, the girls now have a safe and clean place to enjoy their meals.
