Ridgewood Public Library

Shannon spoke at Ridgewood Film Festival promoting girls education in Tanzania

Special thanks to Roberta Carswell, Supervising Librarian at the Ridgewood Public Library, for inviting SHARE's founder, Shannon McNamara, to be the guest speaker at The Reel Voices Film Festival.  The film shown that evening was "A Small Act," which told the story of how an impoverished boy from Kenya made it to Harvard University, after an anonymous woman sponsored his education.

Shannon appreciated the Ridgewood Library's generous honorarium and donated the proceeds to the SHARE Scholars fund.
